It’s been a busy month for Vexation Audio with the start of Nova Star Hunters Season 2 and the release of the Season 1 Special Edition
So now seemed a good time to showcase this awesome Video Trailer created by Greg McQueen of Big Bad Media. Greg is a writer, web designer, podcaster and new media specialist.

We’ve finally launched the Nova Star Hunters – Special Edition! Packed with extras and featuring all the shows in the highest quality mp3 format, the special edition has been a labour of love for the makers of Nova Star.
We’ve crammed in as much as we can. All the sorts of things you’d expect from a special edition; commentaries, deleted scenes, bloopers and a special extra that sheds light on the genesis of Nova Star Hunters with the BBC Comedy Unit and the BBC7 initiative “Witty and Twisted”.
Another new thing – we’re asking you to pay for the download. Why? Well, we’ll never charge for Nova Star Hunters directly. All the shows will remain freely available for download via the website and iTunes…forever! But making a show like Nova Star Hunters costs money, so we’re asking you to support us with your purchase. Doing so will allow us to continue to create the show and to develop it further into the future.

The meta-engineer Bartibus Cogwheel has been trapped and the Nova Star Hunters are scattered. Will they regroup in time to find the second Nova Star shard – The Ocean Stone?
Luke Walker once again plays hapless Robert Nuttall as he attempts to find the shattered Nova Star. David Slack plays meta-engineer Bartibus Cogwheel and is joined by Daniel Thackeray as the golemoid known as Four, Davinia Johki as the futuristic warrior Psi-Girl, and Matthew O’Neill as secret agent Samuel Gunn.
The returning cast is also joined by new members Carly Tarett, playing Lucy, Laura Cope as Pearl and Chris Bridgman as Dr Bramwell.

Robert has been thrown back in time to The Golden Age of pirates and continues the search for the Nova Star Shards in his own unique fashion; by completely ignoring it. Meanwhile, back in our own time, Lucy wonders whether Robert has truly stopped the Dark Energy after hearing strange voices in the night…
Season 2 of Nova Star Hunters sees the production increase in scale; with a larger cast, a broader sweep of story, and with an epic score by Hollywood composer Mark Petrie
